Ingredients
- 100g of haloumi cheese
- 1 bunch of lettuce leaf
- 1 pear, sliced lengthways
- 50g of walnut
- 1/4 of red onion sliced
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 2 tsp of maple syrup
- Half of a lime, juiced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat a pan on medium heat, and grill the haloumi on each side for five minutes or until it turns brown on each side.
- Slice the haloumi into 1cm blocks.
- In a salad bowl, put in the lettuce, pear, walnut, haloumi and onion.
- To prepare the dressing, mix the olive oil, maple syrup, lime juice and salt, then drizzle the dressing over the salad.
- Toss well then serve.
