Ingredients
- 300g of chicken breast
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of pepper
- 1 tsp of sake
- 1 tbsp of flour
- 1 egg beaten
- Sliced cucumbers
- Cherry tomatoes
Nanban Sauce Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp of sugar
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp of vinegar
- 1/2 tsp of chilli powder
Tartar Sauce Ingredients
- 1/2 boiled egg
- 3 tbsp of mayonnaise
- 30g of onion chopped
- 1 pickled cucumber chopped
- 2 tbsp of milk
Instructions
- Make the nanban sauce by combining the sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and chilli powder.
- Make the tartar sauce by mixing mayonnaise, onion, finely chopped boiled egg, chopped pickles and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
- Dice the chicken into 3cm cubes and season it with salt, pepper and sake.
- In a plastic bag filled with flour, coat the chicken evenly.
- Coat the chicken pieces with the beaten egg, and deep fry until it is golden brown.
- Drain the oil from the chicken, and marinate the chicken in the nanban sauce.
- Place the chicken on a plate of cucumbers and tomatoes.
- Spoon a generous amount of tartar sauce onto the chicken.
