Cupcake Ingredients
- 100g of butter
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 1/4 cup of flour
- 1 1/4 tsp of baking powder
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
Icing Ingredients
- 200g of cream cheese
- 75g of butter
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 drops of coloured food dye of your choice
- Sugar pearls
Cupcake Instructions
- Beat the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract until fluffy.
- Add the flour, baking powder and milk into the mixture.
- Fold the mixture with a wooden spoon until it is all combined.
- Transfer 2 tablespoons of the mixture into a muffin tray.
- Bake the cupcakes for 15 minutes at 180 degrees celsius.
- Remove the cupcakes from the tray and set aside to cool.
Icing Instructions
- Beat the cream cheese, butter, vanilla extract and powdered sugar in a bowl.
- Add the coloured food dye and mix with a spoon.
- Fill a piping bag with the mixture and use a star-shaped tip to pipe the top of the cupcake.
- Sprinkle sugar pearls on the cream-cheese frosting.
